  • Sets

    Sets and Backdrops

    We are as flexible as possible but some areas are semi-fixed. We also have collected a range of sets from previous film shoots which can be reused, including a range of fetish/dungeon equipment. We have hire facilities in Birmingham that enable most sets to be built given time. However, we are limited by room sizes, which mean most sets have to fit within a 30' (9m) by 18' (5.4m) area.

  • Casting

    Casting

    We have a large reception room available for people waiting to be screen tested. Local casting can be filmed at no extra cost; remote casting costs, via the internet, vary according to the quality of picture required at the viewing end. High quality transmission can take a few days to set up. This service can be used for a range of other requirements; music auditions, job interviews and marketing presentations, to name a few.

  • Cameramen and other staff

    Cameramen and other staff

    We keep a panel of sub-contractors available to be brought in on specific jobs. We have two highly skilled cameramen, video editors, professional photographers and a range of other skills.

  • Payments

    Payments

    Deposits and balances can paid by bank transfer in British Pounds or US Dollars. We also accept payment by PayPal, cheque or cash. Credit card payments should be done via the PayPal site to our PayPal account (email us for details).

  • Online Diary

    Online Diary

    The studio maintains an online diary, managed through this website, for all bookable studio areas. Regular clients are given a username and password to enable 24 hour booking access. All bookings are confirmed by email, which include a cancellation code if required. Same day booking are not available through the system but available space is shown. Same day and casual bookings are made by phone to 03333 210142.

  • CD/DVD Duplication

    CD/DVD Duplication Facilities

    The studio has available equipment in-house to undertake duplication (not replication/glass master) of your final product in either CD or DVD format. We can also undertake authoring if required. All job are priced bespoke. For larger runs, especially replication, we can arrange and manage the whole job for you. Email us for more information.

Mynet Studios caters for a range of production needs by being flexible. However we are primarily a casting studio, but if you need other services, including green screen, please ask.

Indicative Opening Hours

11am until 7pm - Monday to Saturday.
(Higher rates or minimum charges may apply outside these hours)

Location

Mynet is situated in the West Midlands just a short drive from the M6 motorway at junction 10. Rail services are within walking distance. Full transport and travel details will be sent with the confirmation of your booking.

Rental Price Guide

The rates quoted apply to bookings of four hours or less.
Discount rates only apply to bookings over four hours.

Main Space: £25 Per Hour
White Space: £15 Per Hour

Terms & Conditions

Payment
1. A deposit of 50% is required on all bookings.
The balance is payable on the day of hire.
2. All bookings over £100 that are paid fully in advance will
receive a 10% discount.
3. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer (CHAPS or BACS)
or PAYPAL

Confirmation
1. Bookings will only be confirmed via email on receipt of the deposit.
2. Short-notice bookings (i.e. those made less than seven days before
the date of hire) must be paid fully in advance.

Cancellation
1. Deposits will not be refunded on bookings cancelled at short
notice, that is less than seven days before the date of the hire.
2. Deposits will be refunded on bookings cancelled more than
seven days before the date of hire.
3. Any booking can be re-scheduled at short or advance notice, that is
the deposit is held over. However, an administration fee may apply
in these circumstances.

Insurance
1. Kit and equipment brought into the studios by the hirer must be
insured by the hirer.
2. Kit and equipment supplied to the hirer by Mynet Studios will be
covered by our insurance.
